Disruption is now a tool for rethinking business, and Clinic to Cloud has set about redefining healthcare administration with a range of services and tools.

Announcing a joint partnership agreement with Tyro, the relationship paves the way for practice operations of all sizes to improve patient engagement, through a streamlined payment service that ensures a positive outcome for patients on their finances while providing savings set by health funds.

The partnership will see the integration of both platforms where patients will experience instant Medicare rebates. Furthermore, it will reduce time spent by administrative staff keying card details, where swiped numbers entered into terminals will be automatically replicated by Clinic to Cloud’s platform - improving accuracy of billing, while allowing for greater patient engagement.

The implementation of the platform guarantees how patients are able attain greater outcomes which was a key consideration behind Clinic to Cloud’s decision to partner with Tyro.

The Clinic to Cloud Tyro partnership is a demonstration of shared values around a connected care ecosystem where minimising pressures experienced by medical practice administration staff is pivotal.

Head of Clinic to Cloud’s Partnerships and Alliances, Roshan Karunaratne, described efficiencies in private practices as extremely important for care teams and their patients.

Mr Karunaratne said, “Care teams also involve admin teams who dedicate time to reporting, following up with patients and managing waiting rooms as effectively as possible. To improve on all of these processes, we need to foster better patient engagement, targeted at smarter healthcare through a connected care ecosystem.”

According to Mr Karunaratne, clinicians and administrative staff need to be empowered to focus on what is most important, that being the relationships they hold with patient and the care they provide.  “If administrative tasks are completed faster, it means more time connecting with patients.”

Mr Karunaratne said Clinic to Cloud is careful who it chooses to partner with, because the key underlying factor behind any partnership is the issue what they bring to the table and how they add the best value to our customers.

“Ensuring our customers are attaining value will always remain a priority of Clinic to Cloud. Our mission is to connect millions of patients globally to their healthcare providers in order to improve their care journey and health outcomes.”
